BecomeGorgeous.com writes this for short ‘dos:

“The ruffled-up short hairstyle – with hair shorter at the nape of the neck and longer in the front – can become a real style statement. Moreover, with the short hair coming so strong for spring/summer 2011, you can too try a short, edgy crop. Besides this, the glamorous ’70s inspired hairstyle spotted at Marc Jacobs can look amazing on a short bob”.

Here are some trends for the mid-length and long curly hair lovers:

Work those bangs! Work it, come on yeah *jiggles*

I know in Singapore it’s dangerous to be experimental with curly hair cos those “hairstylists” only know how to cut your hair mid-length. Any shorter  and it’s become a trial and error game. TRUST ME.

Then they will start asking the usual – ” You wanna cut all off ah? Why???!! so nice..don’t cut la…ill just trim for u okay?”

I thought it was a compliment at first, but every time I went back it’s the same. SO i think..they really dont know how else to cut it.

It’s time to stop being safe in Singapore with mid-length curly hair and go all out.

Here are the stylists I’ve been to who haven’t screwed up my short ‘do (yet).

1. Simon’s Salon (Far East Plaza)

2. Salon 916 (East Coast Road)
